The pharmacist offers support to the clinicians and patients in respect of all prescribed medications.

Community Nurses

The team of District Nurses is based at Arthurstone Medical Centre. In co-operation with the doctors and Practice staff they provide a full range of nursing care and support to families and carers in their own homes, who are unable to attend surgery, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Nursing Staff plan and provide packages of care working closely with other professionals including Doctors, Social Services, hospitals and other health workers.

Health Visitors

The Health Visitors work closely with families, giving support and information on all aspects of child and family health. They see all age groups to provide up-to-date research based information so that people can make informed choices about their health. They provide health promotion both in the home and in the practice setting and work closely with the general practice team.
