Training Practice

The Erskine Practice is an established GP training practice and is involved in the training of qualified doctors and nurses who have a special interest in pursuing a career in general practice.  The trainee doctors are fully qualified but work under the supervision of a senior doctor.

Doctors in training may sometimes ask to record consultations, but patients will always be asked in advance and have the choice of declining.

Medical Students

The Erskine Practice is involved with the education and training of medical and nursing students. We would be grateful if you would accept them as part of the practice. The doctor will inform you if a student is in attendance. They will ask you if you are agreeable to them staying during the consultation.  You have the right to decline. The students are the doctors and nurses of the future and practical experience is invaluable for them.  Please help and encourage them as much as possible.
